I love doing that on my own time, so being able to go with other artists is a great experience.

This project was actually inspired by a local company I’m interested in, so I tried my hand at designing characters for children’s graphic tees, and patterns for pajamas and such.

I’ll be setting up a Redbubble account, or something similar, and selling these on both children’s and adult sizes. There’s been a lot of interest expressed in some of these! The patterns will eventually be put on Spoonflower.

I’m sure I’ll be doing more things like this in the future.

Something I started writing while in England and was able to use as an assignment in my illustration portfolio class. I’ll be doing a couple spreads soon, but the whole book won’t be done for quiet some time.

It’s a rhyming kids book inspired by my fiancé and all the kids books I picked up while in England. I got my hands on a lot of Julia Dolaldson books and was really motivated to do something of my own.

It’s about a baby Chinese dragon who, after being swept away in a storm, finds himself in London. Though out of place he learns to love it, but baby dragons don’t stay small forever.
